Sustainability Takes Center Stage at Gram Prague
On the evening of Thursday, 20 June 2024, the vibrant city of Prague became the backdrop for a unique event celebrating sustainability in the European food and wine sectors. Held at the stylish Gram Prague, the event drew a select group of young, affluent, and environmentally conscious individuals interested in sustainable practices and high-quality local products.
An Immersive Experience in a High-End Venue
The event took place at Gram Prague, a venue renowned for its artistic charm, featuring painted walls and an inviting atmosphere that encourages guests to mingle and explore. A central wooden table showcased tasting menus of food and wine, along with gift bags, printed menus, and leaflets embedded with seeds for planting at home. To ensure clarity, a separate table was dedicated to displaying products related to the program, giving guests a comprehensive view of the European sustainable food and wine sector’s offerings.
Our target audience consisted of young independent individuals from Prague aged 18 to 45, with a strong interest in sustainability. To encourage their attendance, we implemented a digital strategy, primarily on Meta, and selected an accessible venue to make it easier for people to join. On the day of the event, over 100 attendees were welcomed with a drink and a sustainability-themed raffle ticket upon arrival, setting the tone for an interactive and engaging evening.
Interactive Tasting and Sustainability Raffle
The evening featured an interactive tasting experience led by one sommelier and three event hostesses, who guided attendees through the rich flavours of sustainably produced food and wine. Guests learned about the origins of the products and the environmentally friendly practices behind them. At approximately 7:45 pm, a raffle added an element of excitement, with questions tied to the program’s presentation speech. Attendees eagerly participated, and three winners were rewarded with sustainability-focused prizes.
A Memorable Evening with a Lasting Impact
The event received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees, who praised the focus on sustainability, the informative presentation, and the interactive tasting experience. The gift of seed-embedded leaflets was especially well-received, leaving a lasting impression.
This event successfully combined education, interaction, and sustainability, creating a meaningful experience for attendees. Guests left not only with the flavors of the evening but also with a deeper appreciation for the European food and wine sector’s commitment to environmentally friendly practices. By connecting with a young, engaged audience, the event inspired thoughtful behaviors and fostered a deeper appreciation for sustainability at its best.
