Winosfera Event in Warsaw - Crossways: Red&White
On November 23rd, the Winosfera event in Warsaw brought together wine enthusiasts and professionals for a day of tastings, discussions, and networking. The event was divided into two segments: a B2B showroom in the morning and a B2C showroom in the afternoon. This setup allowed us to connect with a wide range of attendees, from industry experts to consumers.
Setting the stage
Representatives from Argentina, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland participated, making it a truly international affair. Essential amenities like ice, ice trays, glasses, and water were provided, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
Preparation and organization
The day started with a B2B segment from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM, attracting distributors, importers, retailers, sommeliers, chefs, journalists, bloggers, and VIP guests. This segment included a masterclass on Argentine wines, followed by another featuring wines from three Spanish Designations of Origin (DOs).
Engaging the audience
In the afternoon, from 3:45 PM to 6:45 PM, the event transitioned to a B2C showroom, welcoming wine lovers and casual tasters. Our sommelier conducted three masterclasses, each highlighting a different DO. These sessions were highly interactive, with attendees actively participating and asking questions. The presentations, delivered in Polish, covered various topics, including the history, grape varieties, and aging processes of each DO.
Masterclass highlights
The masterclasses were a key highlight of the event. They included tastings of young white wines and red wines aged from less than 12 months to up to 3 years in oak barrels. Attendees learned about the unique characteristics of each DO, the different grape varieties, and the traditional aging methods used. The sessions were educational and engaging, providing valuable insights into the world of wine.
